In yet another interesting interview on LawUnplugged (click here), we had a chat with Ms. Ayushi Agarwal, she is one of the most dynamic youth associated with the legal fraternity & also the one we have interviewed . She is a graduate of law from the National law school of India University, Bangalore & has done her LLM from the Oxford University. Being a multi faceted personality she has also won various premier moot court competitions like the 11th Nelson Mandela World Moot competition and the Blackstone International Human Rights Moot competition hosted by the Oxford University. She loves to travel around the world & she is currently working as a lecturer in the Jindal Global Law School. Ma'am also runs her own YouTube channel (click here) where she gives her golden insights on recognizing one's area of interest in law & applications for legal vacation schemes!

Time Management

We started with the interview with a very interesting question every law student would like to hear an answer for, which was on managing time doing various activities in Law-school along with finding her calling in the legal profession. We were amazed by what Mam had to say, she says that she was very confused in the beginning & just pushed herself for taking up the CLAT & gradually getting selected in THE most prestigious law school in the country had channelized her thoughts. Even here, she was still finding an answer for the question of "WHY I CHOSE LAW". Subsequently, it was in the 3rd year where she had encountered with the subject of Human Rights which was the turning point in her law school, making her passionate about pursing Human Rights law.

Declining Training Contracts

Further in the interview we had a informative and insightful talk with Ma'am on how and why she declined an offer from Allen & Overy, getting a training contract with such firms & also on the skills which an employer looks in an interview & the scholarships available and many more.

On Your Fingertips - Fun segment

In the last fun segment of the Interview we had our rapid fire round called as the 'On Your Finger Tips' Round, where we had a lot of fun. This interview becomes a must watch for the all the law students who wish to pursue LLM in prestigious law universities and also for the students who want to do all the extracurricular activities of law school but find it hard to juggle between academics and these activities.

Make sure you watch this fun episode, like & comment on the video.
